Emily Charis Olsen

We would like to introduce Emily Charis Olsen into the family and the world. Emily was born at Renown Medical on Sunday September 27th, 2009 at 4:42am. Our angle of a little girl was born after about 2.5 hours of labor at the hospital. If giving birth we're an olympic sport Brandi would be a gold medalist. We (that's the royal "we") started having contractions about 6pm on Saturday as we were putting office furniture together with my Rents for the new office. We went home and got everything together. Riley went and spent the night with Grandpa Mark and Grandma Debbi. Brandi decided we had waited long enough and we went to the hospital around 2am. Which turned out to be just about the right amount of time, because the doctor was still putting on her over pants when the head starting coming out. Although painful we were grateful for a short labor. Emily was a great newborn. She slept well and eat well right from the first day. Brandi asked the pediatrician what was wrong with her, and the reply was "She is a normal baby". We have never had one of those, we didn't know. Thank you to everyone for their support and prayers. We will keep you updated as Emily grows and has endeavors of her own.
